Pokémon TCG cards - Advanced

Battle Academy – The Best Choice for Learning

Do you only know about Pokémon from the phrase “gotta catch ’em all”, but have always wanted to learn or wish to teach your child how to play Pokémon cards and the rules of the game? Then the most suitable combination for learning is undoubtedly the board game Battle Academy.

The Pokémon Company designed this game for parents and children aged 6 and older. It is ideal for those unfamiliar with the basics of the Pokémon TCG card game, as this set provides everything needed to start playing. In Battle Academy, you get step-by-step visually illustrated instructions (note: the instructions are in English) and are designed so that every beginner quickly learns and acquires knowledge for the entire gameplay process.

And when we say step by step, we mean it! When you open the game, you will find in the box a complete set of playing guides, a playmat, gaming accessories, and three sets of Pokémon cards (decks), totaling 180 cards.

The guides lead you through the basics, from how to set up the playmat to exactly what moves need to be made for the first steps in the game. We know it sounds strange that the game’s instructions tell you how to play the game, but we promise it’s for a good reason. Once you complete the first moves, you will be able to use every basic concept needed to understand the game. Through visualization images and extremely detailed steps of instructions, you will learn what needs to be done when it’s your turn, how to evolve your Pokémon, how to attack or defend against your opponent, and more, so you can become an excellent player.

Once you get through the instructional guides, you can find many tips and reminders in them that help you in all subsequent gaming battles.
